Shai Dromi received an honorable mention in the Best Published Article Award competition at the ASA Altruism, Morality, and Social Solidarity Section. The paper, “Good on paper: sociological critique, pragmatism, and secularization theory,” appeared in Theory and Society in 2019, and was co-authored with Samuel Stabler (Hunter College).

Dromi also contributed a piece for the May/June 2020 issue of ASA Footnotes, "Archival Research during COVID-19," which addresses how COVID-19 has impacted historical sociologists’ research—in particular junior scholars.
