Professors Christina Cross and David Pedulla have won ASA section Article of the Year prizes.Professor Cross won the American Sociological Association’s Family Section Article of the Year Award for her co-authored article “Interlinking structural racism and heteropatriarchy: Rethinking family structure's effects on child outcomes in a racialized, unequal society.” Professor Pedulla also won the Family Section Article of the Year Award for his co-authored article “When Do Work-Family Policies Work? Unpacking the Effects of Stigma and Financial Costs for Men and Women”.
