Double Concentration

Beginning in Fall 2022, students are able to declare a Double Concentration. Students who pursue a double concentration will complete the full requirements for two separate fields of study during their time at Harvard. Unlike a joint concentration, there will be no reduction in course-work and a thesis is not necessary, but may be undertaken. Those choosing to pursue a double concentration should plan to download the Sociology Plan of Study to be filled out and uploaded to my.harvard. Remember, the requirements for a double concentration are the same as for a straight Sociology concentrator. Further instructions may be found here: Declaring Sociology.
