Yoojung Lee
Research Interests: Political Sociology; Comparative; East Asia; Mixed Methods
Yoojung Lee is a doctoral student in Sociology. Her research explores how identity-based perceptions interact with broader institutional, economic, and cultural dynamics to shape patterns of political alignment and polarization. She is particularly interested in using a comparative lens to identify the conditions under which political patterns converge (or diverge).
Prior to joining Harvard, Yoojung was a Research Assistant at the Stanford Next Asia Policy Lab. She received an MA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University and a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
