Research Interests: Economic Sociology, Organizational Theory

Yanhua Bird is a PhD student in the Organizational Behavior program jointly offered by the Harvard Business School and the Department of Sociology at Harvard. Her research interests include entrepreneurship, social innovation, corporate non-market strategy and sustainability. Her dissertation looks at how evaluation systems shape patterns of economic transactions in peer-to-peer platform markets.
