Patrick Hamm is an award-winning filmmaker and founder of Bulldog Agenda, a production company with offices in Berlin and Brooklyn. A Berlinale Talents alumnus, he specializes in producing creative documentary and character-driven social impact films, often working with first-time directors. His projects have screened and won awards at leading international festivals and been released theatrically and via major streaming platforms/broadcasters. Most of his projects are international co-productions involving two or more countries.
Patrick is currently producing a slate of new documentary projects intended for distribution in Europe and North America, while also pursuing partnerships for extending his co-production expertise into the narrative field. In addition to his core focus as producer, Patrick is an experienced cinematographer and regularly contributes camera work to his films. He is a frequent attendee at industry markets and pitching forums, programs for the Slamdance Film Festival, and is a member of the Cinema For Peace Academy. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University and a B.A. in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale University.
