Nicole Letourneau is a PhD student in Sociology. She grew up in North Carolina and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned graduate degrees in public health from Emory University and in anthropology from the University of California, San Diego.

Nicole’s research explores how stakeholders in urban settings envision the future of the city and the ways in which they use the resources at their disposal to bring about their goals for their communities. She is especially interested in the influence of climate change on community priorities and investments.
