Leroy Gonsalves is a Ph.D. candidate in the Organizational Behavior program jointly offered by Harvard Business School and the Department of Sociology at Harvard University.
Leroy’s research examines how organizations respond to institutional constraint, focusing on the organizational conditions that affect legal and regulatory compliance. He also has a stream of research on social valuation processes, exploring how organizational conditions affect how managers and employees form perceptions of individual competence, commitment and performance. Leroy’s research is funded by Fulbright Canada and a doctoral fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
