Jingyun Dai is a PhD student in Sociology. Her research centers on inequality and politics in China. Her current project examines the New Rural Reconstruction Movement in China. Previously, she studied how environmental non-governmental organizations influence local governments in China. She is from Chongqing, China, and received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
