Hope Harvey is a PhD candidate in Sociology and Social Policy at Harvard University. Her research addresses questions related to poverty, the family, housing and neighborhoods, social support, and access to social programs. Hope's dissertation combines longitudinal, in-depth interview data with nationally representative survey data to examine the causes and consequences of different types of doubled up households for children and families.
