Bella Evans

Hi everyone! My name is Bella, and I am a Senior in Mather pursuing a joint degree in Sociology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, with a secondary in Psychology. I'm originally from Orcas Island, Washington (west coast, best coast!). I am so, so grateful and excited to be a Sociology PCA and help students learn more about the department + all the fun classes we offer!!

I am pre-law, with a specific interest in Gender Rights law, and on campus I am apart of organizations such as Harvard Undergraduate Law Review, Small Claims Advisory Service, ECHO Peer Counseling, and the Harvard Political Union. My interests include politics, gender, criminal justice, law, social justice, and online networks. Why Sociology?

I fell in love with Sociology when I took Law and Society freshman year and haven't looked back since. I can't say enough positive things about the department, and the classes I have taken so far have been so enjoyable. I love Sociology and I think it's preparing me super well for a career in law, because I have been able to learn so much about how society functions, and the broader social systems that are interacting throughout our everyday lives. One of the things I appreciate most about Sociology is its everyday application; I get to learn and understand so much more about the world around me.
