Kate Gehling '19 has been elected to Harvard College’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, a national academic honor society. Kate is one of 48 seniors to receive this prestigious honor. Kate is a senior in Cabot House from Minnesota studying Sociology with a secondary in WGS. While she does not yet have definitive post-graduation plans, she hopes to work in the public service sector on issues of affordable housing and gender inequality. Concentrating in Sociology has largely shaped her pursuits in both areas, giving her the tools to analyze important social problems from a variety of angles. Congratulations, Kate!
