Funding and Financial Aid Does the Sociology Department fund Doctoral Students?

The Department of Sociology provides 5 academic years and 4 summers of graduate funding. Funding includes a living stipend, tuition, and health insurance. The Department relies on a variety of funding mechanisms, including fellowships, teaching fellowships, and research assistantships. Many of our students are successful in obtaining external fellowships. More information on funding can be found on our Financial Aid page.
