Trauma-Informed Research Practices: Expert Voices from the Community

This panel brings together clinicians and scholars to foster conversation about trauma-informed approaches in social research.

As researchers, many of us set out to study social issues that often require us to engage communities that have experienced various forms of trauma, yet we may not always pause to reflect on how contemporary trauma studies can and should shape our research practices. This event aims to provide a meeting place between practitioners skilled in trauma-focused treatment modalities and social science researchers at all stages of training.
