In 2025, Serbia has seen the largest mass protests in its history - and one of the biggest public mobilizations in the world. Sparked by allegations of corruption and growing authoritarianism, the mass demonstration reflect deep public frustrations with the future of democracy and the erosion of institutional checks and balances. This panel explores the politics, society and future of Serbia with some of its leading intellectuals and public figures. As Serbian authorities waver in their EU membership path, the demonstrations have reignited critical debates over the state of democracy, rule of law, and the future of "European values." What is the future of young people, education, and democracy in Serbia? Who are the protestors, and what do they want? What are the prospects of Serbia's government to engage in meaningful reforms to realize Serbia's potential in the world?
