Eun Se is a PhD Candidate in Sociology. Eun Se's research falls at the intersection of international migration, education, and transnational processes and centers on the experiences of Asians and Asian Americans. Examining the education of immigrants as well as education in their country of origin, she explores how the educational norms, practices, and institutions of home and host countries of immigration are shaped and reshaped by the interconnection of local contexts and transnational influences. Eun Se was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea.
