 \*\*For Summer 2021 Only, On-Line Courses Will Count for Credit\*\*

 -Any course with a SOCI prefix (or related field prefix) *that is approved for College credit* (see list [here](https://summer.harvard.edu/course-catalog/courses?subjects=Sociology)) can count for elective credit for the sociology concentration.

 -**SOCI courses offered by Harvard Summer School that do not count for college credit will not count for sociology elective credit**

 -SOCI S-11 “Introduction to Sociology: Perspectives on Society and the Individual” with Prof. Mandic can count for “Intro credit” in sociology (or elective credit, if you wish)

 -Any course eligible for college credit with a prefix from one of our related fields (see full list [here](/pages/concentration-requirements-and-information)) can count for “related field credit” in the sociology concentration.

 **-STAT S-100 and S-103 will count for the quantitative methods requirement in sociology.**
