*Initial Placement:* Lecturer on Sociology, Harvard University  
*Current Position:* [Lecturer in Sociology, Wellesley College](https://www.wellesley.edu/sociology/faculty/kaliner) I graduated from Brandeis University in 2000 with a BA in Sociology, then worked as an archivist at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study for three years, before pursuing my PhD in Sociology at Harvard University. I completed my doctorate in the Fall of 2013, and stayed on at Harvard as a Lecturer in Sociology through Fall 2017, ultimately teaching over a thousand students in sociology and general education. I was thrilled to join Wellesley as a Visiting Lecturer in the fall of 2017 and return as a full time lecturer from fall 2018, teaching courses in Sociology and Writing through spring of 2021.
