Before her doctoral studies, Joa worked as an independent consultant after graduating with her MBA from the Isenberg School of Management. Earlier, she attended Harvard for a master’s in Regional Studies – East Asia following several years of working for the Asia Society Policy Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
