**Jeremy Mopsick** is a PhD student in Sociology. Jeremy is broadly interested in how work can be structured to be meaningful, well-compensated, and contribute to the greater social good. To this end, he hopes to combine insights from economic, political, and organizational sociology to understand how the broader structures of capitalism can contribute to creating bad and/or good jobs. Before graduate school, Jeremy was a Research Fellow on The Shift Project, where he developed a project on the political economy of workplace surveillance in the service sector.

**Previous Degrees:**
BA in Physics and Sociology. Wesleyan University (2020)
