His research examines how organizations construct and regulate marketplaces, with particular interest in wage-setting, labor market intermediaries and platforms, and the processes through which firms gain authority to define the rules of exchange in emergent markets. A dual German-American national, Henri graduated from Sciences Po in 2023 with a B.A. in Economics and Society. Before graduate school, Henri was a Predoctoral Research Fellow on the Harvard Kennedy School's Shift Project, where he led data collection for a national survey of low-wage service workers and developed a study of whether firms respond differently to statutory minimum wage increases than to the voluntary wage commitments they announce on their own terms.
