*Research Interests:* Organizational change; internet and social media; political actors; computational text analysis; mixed methods

**Cat O'Donnell** is a doctoral candidate in sociology. She is interested in organizations, digital media, and political actors. One project analyzes network ties between staff and leaders of non-profit and charitable organizations. A related project explores the mass emails of national organizations. Other work explores how political leaders respond to the particular opportunities and challenges of their local environments. In another line of work, Cat examines deliberation in online forums.
