Adam Travis

Research Interests: Inequality, urban sociology, historical and comparative sociology, housing policy, and the welfare state.
Adam Travis is a PhD student in Sociology & Social Policy. Adam’s research interests include inequality, urban sociology, historical and comparative sociology, housing policy, and the welfare state. Before beginning his graduate study, Adam spent several years working on political campaigns and for the U.S. Senate, where he focused on housing and urban policy. He also served as a Director of the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter and worked abroad in Kenya as a Michael Rockefeller Fellow. Adam graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Social Studies.
