Courses in this cluster also cover racism and anti-racism and the meaning of “race” and “ethnicity” in different parts of the world. Many faculty specialize in these areas and offer courses and workshops including Race and Ethnic Relations, Race and Crime, Sociology of Immigration, Mexican Migration Flows, Racism and Anti-Racism in Comparative Perspective, Immigration, Identity and Assimilation, and the Migration and Immigrant Incorporation and the Contemporary Studies of Race and Ethnicity workshops.
