Professor Robert Sampson delivered “The William Alonso Memorial Prize Lecture” at the international meeting of the North American Regional Science Association in Atlanta on November 15^th, 2013.  The Alonso Prize is awarded every two years, which Sampson received for Great American City: Chicago and the Enduring Neighborhood Effect.   Research from his book was also featured in an invited essay on inequality in the New York Times (Division Street, USA) and in interviews with Thinking Allowed (BBC Radio) and Remapping Debate (All in the Neighborhood).
