Orlando Patterson, John Cowles, Professor of Sociology, has been appointed by the Prime Minister of Jamaica to head the Jamaica Education Transformation Commission 2020, a group of leaders with a large remit of no less than comprehensively reviewing and proposing systemic changes to all of public education in Jamaica.
