Lecturer Shai Dromi and Doctoral Student Mo Torres have been elected to the council of the Theory Section of the American Sociological Association. Shai will serve on the council for a three-year term while Mo will serve on the council as a student member for a two-year term.

Sean Bock and Yuval Feinstein's paper with Bart Bonikowski entitled, “The Partisan Sorting of `America’: How Nationalist Cleavages Shaped the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.” American Journal of Sociology 127(2):492-561 is the co-winner of the Best Paper award for the Political Sociology section.

Doctoral Candidate Leah Gose has been selected as a 2022-23 Harvard Radcliffe Institute Dissertation Completion Fellow.
