Margot Moinester wins the Dorothy S. Thomas Award

Congratulations to Margot Moinester, the winner of this year's Dorothy S. Thomas Award! Margot received the award for her paper, "Changes in the Probability of Being Ordered Removed From the U.S. Interior, 1988–2010," on April 12 at the PAA Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

The Dorothy S. Thomas Award was established by the Population Association of America (PAA) in honor of Dorothy S. Thomas and is awarded annually to the author(s) of the best graduate student paper on the interrelationships among social, economic and demographic variables. The Award consists of a cash prize and a certificate.
