Dean Lawrence Bobo was recently elected as [Chair of the Board of American Institutes for Research](https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2024/02/21/2833059/0/en/American-Institutes-for-Research-Announces-New-CEO-and-Board-Chair.html). The American Institutes for Research (AIR), one of the world’s oldest and largest behavioral and social science institutions. He is the first African American to chair the AIR Board.
