Congratulations to Michèle Lamont on her selection as a 2019 Andrew Carnegie Fellow. Lamont is one of only 32 social scientists and humanists from across the United States who were selected for this prestigious award, and one of only three Sociologists. The Fellowship will support work on her new project on valuation and recognition in the contemporary US, while she is on leave at the Russell Sage Foundation during 2019-20.  Raj Chetty, our newest Faculty Affiliate, joins Michèle this year as a Carnegie Honoree.  See Harvard Gazette article: " Carnegie Corporation names fellowship winners  (April 23, 2019).
