Fernanda Baron Wins Department's Fulton Prize for Best Thesis 2020

"THE ONLY BABA IN "MOMMY & ME": DETERMINING PARENTHOOD, RE/DOING PARENTHOOD, AND THE QUEER POTENTIAL OF NON-BINARY PARENTING," is the title of their thesis, advised by professor Jocelyn Viterna.

 

The Albert M. Fulton, A.B. 1897 prize was established in 1977. This prize is awarded annually to the senior who submits the best thesis “judged by its contents,” research methods, “and literary expression, in the field of . . . sociology.”
