Benavidez receives Derek Bok Award

Congratulations to Aaron Benavidez, one of five recipients of the 2018 Derek C. Bok Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching of Undergraduates. Spring 2018 award recipients were celebrated on October 11, 2018, at an invitation-only event. Click here for more information about Aaron's award citation.

The Derek C. Bok Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching of Undergraduates is given each year to five teaching fellows who have been nominated by their departments. The recipients are chosen from the list of nominees by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The award includes a prize from a gift given by David G. Nathan ’51, M.D. ’55 (Robert A. Stranahan Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School) and his wife Jean Louise Friedman Nathan.

Past recipients of this award include Theodore Leenman (2016), András Tilcsik (2009), and Tamara Pavasović Trošt (2008).
