Jack Goldstone, Elman Family Professor of Public Policy at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Virginia E. and John T. Hazel Professor of Public Policy at George Mason University, will present a talk on :"Bridging Culture, Economics, Politics, Networks and Agency: Toward a Unified General Theory of the Origins of Modern Economic Growth".   Workshop in History, Culture and Society co-sponsored by the Department of Sociology.
