Initial Placement: Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour, Department of Management Science and Innovation, University College London, England

My research and advisory practice focus on principles for designing organizational structures and strategies that help companies and teams adapt to and innovate in uncertain environments. I'm an assistant professor at University College London's School of Management, where I teach strategy and design for undergraduates and doctoral students. I have worked with and studied innovators and innovations in food, drink, technology, and design for over a decade. I'm particularly interested in learning how some organizations that are exposed to uncertainty are able to flourish instead of responding—as so many others do—with paralysis or denial.
