Tracey Lloyd is a senior research associate in the Urban Institute’s Justice Policy Center, where she coleads the center’s Policing and Crime Prevention research team. She directs a National Institute of Justice–funded project on school discipline reform and school safety in Massachusetts, as well as projects on youth-police interactions and racial disparities in police use of force. A former public high school teacher, Lloyd has a deep appreciation for practitioner expertise and prioritizes actionable results.
