Dr. Zuberi is RBC Chair and Professor of Social Policy at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto. Prior to his appointment at the University of Toronto, he was the William Lyon Mackenzie King Research Fellow at Harvard University and a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. In 2015, he was elected member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. He is currently completing research projects on social policy and urban poverty, health policy, education, immigrant access to services and settlement experiences, reducing hospital-acquired infection rates and hospital employment
