Certifications of Distinction in Teaching for courses taught during 2013-2014 academic year were awarded to teaching fellows Asad L. Asad (Sociology 24), Stefan Beljean (Sociology 97 - both fall and spring terms), Monica Bell (Sociology 97 and 179), Gru Han (Sociology 137), Theodore Leenman (Sociology 27), Christy Ley (Sociology 25), Jasmin Sandelson (Sociology 10 and Sociology 209), and Jessica Tollette (Sociology 128).

Certificates of Teaching Excellence were awarded to Rachel Meyer and Kaia Stern, both for their junior tutorial courses, and to Kimberlyn Leary for Sociology 169.

The Harvard University Certificate of Distinction in Teaching goes to outstanding teaching fellows, teaching assistants, and course assistants, and the Harvard University Certificate of Teaching Excellence goes to outstanding lecturers and preceptors.
