Daniel Schneider, Professor of Public Policy and Professor of Sociology, received the W. Richard Scott Article Award for "What Explains Racial/Ethnic Inequality in Job Quality in the Service Sector?" in the American Sociological Review  while Matthew Clair (PhD '18) received the Max Weber Book Award for his book, entitled Privilege and Punishment: How Race and Class Matters in Criminal Court.
