Michèle Lamont elected to the Royal Society of Canada

The Royal Society of Canada fellowship is the highest honor a scholar can achieve in the Arts, Humanities and Sciences in Canada.

 

The Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada have elected 87 new fellows, including one Foreign Fellows and three Specially Elected Fellows. The newly elected Fellows have diverse backgrounds and disciplines. They have been elected by their peers in recognition of outstanding scholarly, scientific and artistic achievement. Election to the academies of the Royal Society of Canada is the highest honour a scholar can achieve in the Arts, Humanities and Sciences.
