Kahrl Award for Excellence in Teaching

Alexandra Killewald is the recipient of this year's Kahrl Award for Excellence in Teaching.

The Kahrl Award was established some years ago as the "Excellence in Teaching Award."  It was given to the Department by a former undergraduate concentrator, Mr. George Kahrl, in recognition of Professor Stephen Cornell’s outstanding commitment to undergraduate education at Harvard. It is given to a junior faculty member in the Department who has made outstanding contributions to undergraduate instruction. The winner is chosen by a student advisory committee, this year chaired by Brianna Bueltmann and Mayra Espinoza-Martinez.
