Deirdre Bloome has been named the recipient of the Candace Rogers Student Paper Award which will be presented at the upcoming Eastern Sociological Society annual meeting to be held February 20-23, 2014, at the Baltimore Hilton. Her paper is titled "Racial Inequality Trends and the Intergenerational Persistence of Income and Family Structure."  This year two honorable mentions for the award are also being announced, one of which goes to Eva Rosen for her paper "The Rules of the Game: Landlords and the Geographic Sorting of Voucher Holders."
