Deirdre Bloome receives ASA Award

Deirdre Bloome received the best student paper award from the Section on Inequality, Poverty, and Mobility of the ASA for her paper on "Racial Inequality Trends and the Intergenerational Persistence of Income and Family Structure." Dr. Bloome received her Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy in May 2014 and is now Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
